ABOUT
A Colour and Concept Specialist with 20 years’ experience shaping colour and concept direction across forecasting, retail, brand and product environments.
I develop bespoke colour direction and narrative-led concepts for clients across fashion, interiors, and product design. My work is grounded in cultural research and careful observation, translating emerging ideas into clear creative direction that supports both brand identity and product development
The breadth of my experience - from leading colour across Womenswear at M&S, to working with international forecasting agencies, brands and manufacturers - I bring a broad perspective on how concept and colour moves from early creative thinking through to commercial application. I enjoy bridging those worlds, connecting big ideas with practical outcomes that retain creative ambition.
APPROACH
Colour and concept are inseparable. The strongest colour direction is never developed in isolation, but grows from a clear creative idea informed by culture, art, design and an understanding of how people want to live. Colour is one of the most immediate ways we experience a product brand. It shapes perception, creates emotional connection and communicates meaning in an instant.
My approach begins with curiosity - exploring culture, art, design and the wider visual landscape to understand emerging shifts and enduring influences. Through careful editing, I distil complex ideas and influences into concepts that inspire product, strengthen brand identity and support commercial decision-making.
Collaboration is at the core of my approach and integral to every project. I enjoy bringing together different perspectives, building alignment across teams and shaping shared creative direction through colour, concept and visual storytelling.
